If Chuck Norris played hockey, he'd give up 40+ shots per game and still win by 2 goals or more. |

They will just retire the goaltender position and put up a brick wall in front of the net. - MapleLeafsFTW
We already have that |

You're right. I was at the game here Monday, and we were well represented. We always are. Truth is, Price has had a good start. His numbers are good. The only way the playoffs come easier, is if he keeps it up. - hscesq
It's the same with the Leafs, last night in Calgary their were a tonne of Leaf fans and the night before in Edmonton I'm almost positive there was more Leaf fans than Oiler fans. We may not be able to buy a team, but at least we get more "home games" than the average team. |

Downie traded for Talbot...what are the Flyers doing? This helps their offense how? Although I would have wanted the Leafs to acquire Downie for our bottom lines, I don't understand this trade for Philly. |

For sure more in Edmonton... Like 3/4.
I'd say half and half last night. |

Comparing the last two games vs. Saturdays game. I think the players might enjoy visiting the other Canadian, and Florida based teams more than playing in the ACC some nights. Saturday's games was pathetically dead silent until the end. |

I'd say Downie has more offensive upside and they need to mix it up. |

Sakic said Talbot has a Stanley Cup and play off experience, I guess he's banking on them to make the playoffs already.. |

Season ticket holders see $$$ whenever the Leafs are scheduled to be in town. |

Damn, I would've thought Downie was worth more than Talbot. |

IMO Downie is better than Talbot....seems like a downgrade for Colorado, and an unneeded player for the Flyers at this point in time. |

Imagine being Downie today? "You've been traded from the 2nd place team to the 29th place team. Good luck in Philly" |

When he looks at his paycheck, it'll ease the pain a bit. |

I lived in EDM for 12 years and have been to every single Leaf game whilst there...
It's easy as poop to get tickets out there. |

Doubt 'er... he was getting that money in Colorado... to say his ego and pride won't be kicked in the junk after this trade is asinine... |

On one of my fantasy teams I've had Moulson go to Buffalo and Downie go to Philly. Who needs to ever win in the +/- category anyway right? (frank). |

That's what I'm thinking. I really needed those 30+ goals (Moulson) and 150+ PIM (Downie) though. |
