Really? football is bigger in America, as is baseball which is huge in the Caribbean and Japan. Hockey is more popular in Northern Europe and Cricket is the #1 sport in west Asia and is very popular in east Europe.

I would bet money that Basketball is more popular globally then baseball though. It's played almost everywhere in the world - not even close for baseball.
Cricket though, yeah, that could be # 2 for sure. |
