They seem more serious than your standard domestic violence charge, but maybe your right. |

It's Colorado... he's probably down at the station smoking a bowl with his lawyer and police chief. It'll all work out for him |

The part where this offseason they did nothing after promising big changes?
And the one before? - twiztedmike
You sure have a great handle on the Oilers situation. |

Funny Roy had a similar incident.
At least it's not like he gunned down someone like Hernandez. |

Im not tryng to be picky, i'd love to move him. But im saying I dont think Darcy gives up a guy like that who wants to stay in Buffalo unless he cant refuse the offer. - Djtyczy
That's my point...Ott is a competitor, I am assuming so at least , do you not think he wants a chance to win a championship? Don't know the guy but he's only been a Sabre for a few years, I can't see a player like him wanting to stay to endure the rebuild. Plenty of attractive opportunities will be there in July. |

I believe Ott is a trustworthy guy, and he has stated he wants to stay. He lives here with his wife (married over summer) and his kid. He best friend (basically brothers) is mike weber and hes locked up here. Weber billeted with the Otts when he played in the OHL. I think Ott wants the challenge to captain and lead the young guys to a championship down the road. Hes also a fan favourite here, one of the few these days... |

Hmmm...lets see here, the GM fired and replaced the coach, traded the Captain away, tried to trade Hemsky ( gotta have a buyer, can't fault him there), added Joensuu, Gordon up front ( along with 4th liner Acton), traded one of the suppossed super kids for David Perron, added a veteran leader on Defence in Ferrence, the top KHL Defenceman in Belov and added depth in Grebeskov and Larson...added Goalie depth in Labarbera and Bachman....Said goodbye to Khabibulin , Sh1tney and Belanger....I guess your the ki d of guy that think bold means nothing less than trading Hall, Ebs, Nuge or Yak, regardless of what is being offered in return, no? |

MacT has done a great job, oilers are my out of buffalo team. i couldnt believe Tambellini was employed that long. Oilers are a goalie, a defenseman, from being contenders. They could be a 7 or 8 seed now that the forwards are almost healthy. |

Sure, if Buffalo is home now and that's what he wants. But seriously, how many guys have you heard on the deadline say they are nervous and want to stay on the crappiest teams....it's standard hockey media cliche malarkey. I give Vanek credit, he said he wasn't interested in a rebuild , when most guys wouldn't say how they felt. If I learned I one thing in Edmonton over theist 20 years, hockey players have no problem moving, no matter how much they say they are happy, especially if it means money and Stanley's . |

Isn't this the same guy that Sabres owner Pegula went out west and talked him into changing his mind on the no-trade clause and brought him to Buffalo? I know the guy is not being shopped by the Sabres but he is not playing bad on our defense AND he is locked in for years. Why even have the idea parked in the Sabre mind |

I would think anyone in their late 20's/early 30's on the Sabres would want out. At that age, you dont have time to wait around for the team to come together and try for the cup when you're 34, 35 years old. |
