He freaking tackled him. Call it the Iggy factor, refs closed their eyes and went to worship mode. It was ref stoopid NHL time. Who cares, it's over. |

We didn't have room to bring him back and we didn't have a need either. As someone said earlier, he showed more heart tonight for Boston than he did in two months for Pittsburgh.

Playing against Sid brings the best of everyone I guess
Just thought it would be funny to say the "you chose poorly" phrase for once |

i do agree with that, but not to beat a totally dead horse, but he was still terribly used while in pittsburgh |

Damn it! Selanne is out two weeks. He probably will not play when they're here in Raleigh now. So much for seeing him play. |

That last save from fleury was identical to the one he made in game 7 of the 09 finals. |

I do not deny that. DB didn't know what to do with him or have a plan for him. Shero acquired him to keep him away from Boston. He wasn't needed in the first place. We blew our first pick on him when we could have had Ryan Hartman.

i still think using him successfully on the powerplay and putting him with crosby he wouldve been a totally different player. but yes, hindsight confirms that he wasnt really needed. (and obviously boston didnt really need him either) |

I'll say they played good and Malkin especially well defensively , he was chasing every puck , he was a monster ! |

Hard to believe Fleury only had 21 saves. Seems like he made that many in the last minute. He played great. |
