I think if Kassian becomes more consistent we will soon be seeing a Burrows Santorelli Kassian second line |

I'm sure even he is starting to question it(won't admit though). - Nucker101
Too stubborn to ever admit it. Or anything for that matter. |

Love the directness in a non-threatening way. The guy shoots from the hip. Got to respect that. |

Yes, and he was bang on. I have noticed that Kassian has less of the deer in the headlights look this year and more of the focused look. He's much better when he's focused and plays with an edge. |

I think he getting better every game. HE was never going to succeed under AV, I sure as hell am glad we got torts.
I noticed his skating alot against the Caps.
Thats the one thing he needs to do is continue to move his feet. If he does that, He can be effective. |

Everytime I check the hockey pool, I get a roster alert that Bozak is getting dumped from other yahoo fantasy league teams like Lindsay Lohan gets dumped by PR representation. 1322 teams and counting.
Anyone want him? |

Wonder if Lecavalier is regretting signing in Philly after he's found out how bad they are?
Would love him as 2C, if the price was right. His cap isn't bad, but still has 4 more years.
Pipe dream... |

Depends on what the plan is for our youth next year. This could be a be patient year. |

With the pleasant surprise of stanton and how good it appears corrado will be its time to flog edler.
If kesler is going to be a winger and the power forward we have needed since bert left, edler should be traded for a potential or legit second line center. As a thought could we not do this
Alex Edler and Jannick Hansen
for
Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds
Maybe our side may need a bit more but maybe not. Our lineup is
Sedin Sedin Kesler
Burrows Schenn Simmonds
Higgins Santo Kassian
Whoever Richardson Whoever
Hamhuis Tanev
Garrison Bieksa
Stanton Corrado
Lu
Seriously a better Team slot in shinkurauk and horvat next year |

Agreed. But I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for the youth next year.
Hopefully one of them makes it, but I wouldn't bet on one cracking the top6.
My guess is one or two might make a case for the bottom 6, which will still be a huge help.
Vinny is signed for 4 years at a decent cap hit. Depending on whether he can still put up 50+ points in 4 years, of course, which is a gamble.
He'd be a great veteran to help the youth learn the game....but they'd most definitely have to give up some of that youth to acquire him, which probably isn't worth it. |
