I'm liking the name Ry & Ginger for the top line. - golfingsince
Some guy came up with Hank Dank and the Yank.
I hope you don't mind if I just call them the Sedin /Kesler line. |

Interesting to read the "Moulson's record is what it is thanks to Tavares" comments. He's played alongside Taveres for the past 4 years so it's impossible to get a parallel comparison (until now of course). But apart from the Anson Carters of there world (when his success was so obviously linked to the Sedins), nearly every goal-scorer of repute can attribute the levels of their success to the quality of their linemates. The list of players who can consistently carry a line on their own is short indeed. |

True, but Tavares is regarded as one of the top 10, possibly top 5 players in the world. He's not just any old decent linemate. |

A dozen goals? Are we talking about Ryan Johnson here? His stick is where any offensive momentum went to die. A lot of people wanted an upgrade on him at the time since he was fairly ineffective outside of blocking shots and faceoffs and was constantly injured. - Nucker101
My bad, thought we were talking Manny. |

Aside from a top 6 playmaker, I think a 4th liner center who is elite in the circle is a pressing need. Tanev, Booth and Schroader for Flieschman and Goc? Haven't checked but I believe Marcel G is a good face off man |

No worries. Manny before his eye-injury was definitely an effective payer and an important piece. |

I'm fine with Richardson at the 4LC spot to be honest. Assuming that a top 6 skilled player was acquired, I believe Richardson would get bumped down to that spot permanently when everyone is healthy. I'd like to see more of Welsh as well, he looked decent last night.
Tallon would laugh hanging up the phone at that offer IMO. |

I'm gonna take some flack for this but I'll take JT over Stamkos any day. Tavaras made Brad "nobody wants me" Boyes into a nice point produced. IMO Stamkos is a modern day Brett Hull |

Neither are St Louis or Henrik, but we still consider(ed) Stamkos and Daniel to be amongst the league's best snipers when they're putting up big totals. Just saying. |

I just think we need more face off wins. |

I like Welsh as our current 4 th line center. He has size,he is cheap and I think he will develop nicely. We also have Lain on the farm who might fill that roll in the next two years.

I've daydreamed about having St Louis on our 2nd line for longer than I can remember. |

I've heard so many people over the past couple of days suggest Moulson in underrated, not the other way around. Also, none of them were Garth. |

Might want to offer a list of players who aren't currently on crutches as a starting point.
If you want those 2 you're trading one of our top 4 D without question. |

Yeah, but I said assuming that a top 6 skilled player were to be acquired, I think you'd see Richardson on the third line. He isn't playing ahead of Henrik, Daniel, Kesler, Hansen, Higgins, New Top 6, Santorelli, Burrows and one of Booth/Kassian(9 forwards in total). |

Looks like the return of Lecavalier woke the Flyers up from their slumber. Anyone in Fantasy who traded for the Flyers' top guys for cheap, be prepared to start singing.
Gotta say I do like Lecavalier and think he would have been worth kicking the tires on over the summer to slot in as our 2C. Not sure how many good years he has left, but he's good now. |

Interesting news on the Vanek deal.
Isles can switch the 1st to 2015 if the want (probably won't considering each draft class), and Buffalo retained some of Vanek's salary. |
