are you done ranting and raving?

Since 2003, how many times have the Canadiens missed playoffs?

- EricEngels

some 500 teams make the playoffs, they are also 500 in the playoffs.

a Richard that is right. it's ok though, they are on the path to greatness, they are just stuck at the mediocre station with no prospect of filling up and moving on.
- HuileHab

10 games above .500 last season was impressive. Highly rated farm system as well. Things are looking up. Briere was a bad move but will be gone in a year.

The habs are on the path to a 500 hockey team, same as every year, except this year they have a couple midgets that are hurt, which is probably helping the team.
- HuileHab

You're implying a year-to-year basis. Back to internet lawyer school for you.

Some suggested he may think about retiring. 3rd concussion in a very short time.

Will his contract still count against the cap since he is 36 or did they get rid of that in the last CBA?

Huh? Junior players like 3 in Q, Mccarron, euros like Colberg plus big Jared T and Beaulieu in Hamilton. Bournval looks good so far.

3 junior playes now equate an awesome farm system?

They could simply LTIR him like the Flyers are doing with Pronger...

Everyone knows Pronger will never play again, and yet, the Flyers get a cap break by keeping him on LTIR.

If he signed the retirement papers, the Flyers would be (frank)ed. Can't believe the league does nothing about it.

A win tonight puts them on pace for 101 points. Why don't save your whining till the standings support it.

McCarron is the 12th best scorer for his London team. Woohoo.
Huilehab is annoying but all NHL teams have similar or better prospects.

I don't think so, he is 36 now but he hasn't played since 2011.

Cap hit would remain, no? Over 35 when he signed...

EDIT: his biggest contribution to the Habs would be not retiring...just staying on the injury list so he doesn't count against the cap...

EDIT2: Late...
