That is close. Probably not enough to overturn. But if the goal was allowed I think the goal would count.

kimmo is going to be my whipping boy this game, that all started by not skating back for the puck, relying on mason to go get it. gotta be smarter and skate!

I think they are playing great but 2 big glaring mental farts by kimmo lead to extended O-zone time for ducks

this would be a tough goal to give up. Mason flubbed the puck behind the net, to start that.

DAT VINNY ONE TIMER DOE
- Giroux_Is_God

A lot of people didn't think about how we were also getting one of the hardest slappers in the league when we were getting Vinny. Adding him and Streit gave us two more really good cannon shots.

I'm not saying to keep them for the sake of keeping them...I doubt a real contender has a need for Hartnell or Timonen. And while Timonen is a UFA in the summer, Hartnell has 3 years left on his deal...where ever he goes, he's got to agree to be there for 3 years.

I one sentence you saying that a desperate team would jump to get them, and in the next you're saying the Flyers wouldn't miss them. A lot of them ARE replaceable, but you're not going to get much for them.

- Jsaquella

They are rePlaceable because we have depth. And I said they are decent players. Hartnell has value to a team. So does kimmo. Were not talking about nodl here. My point is I'd like to move them for good prospects or picks due go our depth. If we aren't in playoff contention at deadline most fans will say some of them will be moved at deadline and we will have to wait until to see who is right reguarfing their trade value

Read with 3 goals in 3 games, Vinny with 4 goals in 2. There's our depth scoring showing up, and our star scoring showing up. Btw, Mez looks pretty good so far tonight. If he keeps playing like he has this game I'll be less angry about Goose getting benched.

Mezzy how did you miss that?!

This team keeps getting better guys. This was a fantastic period, minus that sequenec there for a few minutes around the 5 minute mark and Simmer's boneheaded penalty.

Solid kill, solid PP, great 5-5 play, strong breakouts and puck support, great energy, dangerous puck movement in the O zone....

This team looks like a playoff team.

Excellent period. Probably the best of the year so far. Could they be turning this around? Giroux looks better and Vinny is lighting it up! 60 mins boys.
