But Hall can't skate worth poop and signed a big contract as if he is a veteran in the league putting up points I hate the way he carrys himself on oil exchange.

Simmonds, m, foligno would be great.
even more pluggish guys like bickell that can still create space for the nuge and go to the net would go a long way.

had some very high hopes for jesse joensuu after watching him in the preseason and game 1/2. big, mixes it up, physical.
but his skating is a question mark and he got hurt too quickly for us to really know one way or another.
hopefully he's back soon.

Okay there must be an extra chromosome somewhere in your genetics. To not care for Hall is one thing but this is as dumb as "Gretsk can't even pass"

AV has always been that kind of a coach, Gillis and him had a meeting when MG got hired. It was heavily speculated that Gillis forced him to coach an offensive and up-tempo style or he was going to be fired so naturally AV had to comply. Every since the SCF, he reverted back to playing a more defensive style and last year he basically started playing trap hockey and it was awful to watch.

Ott would be a big improvement for Edmonton but I just can't see Miller agreeing to go there. I get what everyone is saying about him wanting out of Buffalo but he's free at the end of the season anyway. I doubt we'll see him agree to go to a non-playoff team unless it's one he didn't put on his list.

Kesler looks pretty damn good, you could just tell from his comments that he was not a AV fan, he also missed training camp and the start of the last 2 years. I agree that secondary scoring is a major issue, but everything else is fine. I don't think this team could beat LA/CHI/STL/SJ in a 7 game series unless they added a top 6 skilled player. I'm more optimistic about next year, Booth is a lock to get bought out, plus with the cap going up they should have a decent amount of money to sign a good forward for the second line and Horvat, Shinkaruk, Corrado, Gaunce, Kassian, Jensen, etc will all be a year older.

I think most Oiler fans would agree we need some grizzled veterans up front that are physical, a physical 2 way D, a upgrade in net and that you're a total putz.
