Rolston shouldn't even be coaching this team, you don't teach in the NHL IMO, when your in the NHL you are ready to play. He needs to be a teacher in the AHL.

Vanek's always been streaky. Trust me, he would have gone on a tear at some point, and the Sabres would have won a few games they really shouldn't have. That would allow them to end up past Philly and NJ.

I wondered if he actually didn't want the job in the first place. He could've stayed in Rochester, continued to develop talent and build his resume. Hopefully landing a head coaching job in a better situation. Instead he'll be lucky to survive the season and now is labeled a loser in the NHL. #blackballed

I think Darcy did Vanek a solid by sending him to a team with a legit all-star center on a contract year....providing he'll play with Tavares, he may be looking at what he's getting paid now or BETTER this summer.

People were suggesting he be given the C before the season. I vaguely remember Vancouver fans suggesting that he has daddy issues and can be a chamber pot if called out.

With all do respect to Miller, he needs to go next and soon. always liked Miller and Vanek the most but they should move Miller. Makes it easier for the team to focus and move forward.
