If I figured it correctly, we would get the 11th pick in the 1st from the Isles.

While I agree that this coming draft isn't all that great, I've heard the Sabres don't. Take it for what it's worth.

No professional publication/website would say that a draft "blows". That's an individual interpretation. The top 10 players like Reinhart, Ekblad, Nylander, Draisaitl, McKeown, Dal Colle, etc. are elite-level.

Even if their pick is around 20, we have the expendable assets to get back into the top 10.

Exactly, the ~20th and the Min and LA 2nds could get us back into the top 10.

Keep in mind all of these picks are assets that can be used to get players. I would be willing to bet they trade a few of the 165 2nd rounders they have

Will be interesting to see how Darcy manages all these draft picks. Puts us in a very flexable position to trade up/ aquire players.

I doubt Anaheim is the team:
1.) They have 3 solid Goaltenders.
2.) They wouldn't be on his no trade list because they are good and are so close to his wife.

I can actually. Alot of people werent impressed with him. Even Caps fans at the time. But his offseason training had been great. He was playing a jr league in Sweden. He didnt do much at the top tier lvl. Now Erat is a 4th liner under Oates. Kinda funny.

I guess we'll just have to respectfully disagree with each other. (BTW, Reinhart is on pace for 130 points if he plays the whole season of 72 games... Not to mention his solid 2-way play and leadership ability)

I think the package will be lower. Miller is older. Also gonna depend on if the trading team plans to keep Miller for a longer term or just a Rental.
