Rinne will be back soon enough. More likely to gamble on the Bryz
- muffin_man

Might be out longer than initially thought.

Maybe Nashville?

you might be on to something if this has legs:

Nashville Predators netminder Pekka Rinne has described the infection in his left hip as “very serious.” In an interview with Finnish publication

I don't think it's Edmonton, going out on a limb but I'm saying Calgary.

Feaster is dumb enough to trade for Miller I can see that happening.

I think it is more possible than people think.
HOWEVER, I think "Millsy" won't accept a deal to the Saddledome no matter what.

- Jawallstar1

He might accept to anywhere at this point. As long as he doesnt have to agree to a new contract. Play out his final year and hes open to go where ever he wants that has an offer for him.

No way the Preds make a move for Miller unless they get him for literally nothing. They will play all theyre goalies in theyre system and stand pat.

I'd like to see him stay too but I'm curious what that would cost and why he'd stay when he could probably go anywhere (to a contender, not just out of buffalo)

Really wish this draft wasn't so bad...

- muffin_man

The draft isn't bad at all

Obviously the latter portions of the 1st round are nowhere near last year, but the top half of the 1st, where we'll be picking, has elite-level talent.

Anytime your dealing with infection your time frame really isn't accurate. Could be longer could be shorter, all depends on how the body responds.

If it's potentially season ending, they would be smart to go after Miller as opposed to Bryz. Miller for Forsberg?

Miller to Nashville for Forsberg + something > a 7th. That would be fair.

While I agree that this coming draft isn't all that great, I've heard the Sabres don't. Take it for what it's worth.

even if it's a season endinginjury they just signed the guy to a monster extension I don't see it. Nashville needs scoring more than anything else.

Hopefully, the Islanders don't make the playoffs and we have 2 high picks.

Darcy called and offered Feaster our first for Jankowski, Feaster said no.

Just because, Vanek will have a 90 point season and lead them to an unforeseen Conference Final run.

Even if their pick is around 20, we have the expendable assets to get back into the top 10.

Burke has to ok the deal.

So does Miller for that matter if Calgary is one of the 8.

everything I've heard/read is that the draft blows, top to bottom.

Keep in mind all of these picks are assets that can be used to get players. I would be willing to bet they trade a few of the 165 2nd rounders they have
