No way they even consider that. Pred's need a prospect like Forsberg. They got Hellberg brewing. Pred's arent gonna go after a big trade for a goalie. They will find a fa or a euro guy.
- poisondhearts37

Maybe we send Moulson to the Preds they need all the scoring help they can get.

While I agree the first and second may be too much, the isles have a ton of prospects and the picks really mean nothing anymore

That is probably true, just depends on if they want to win now or not.
- SABRES 89

Pred's will steal wins with mediocre goalies. I just think that Forsberg is off the table no matter what. They finally got theyre hands on a high quality prospect.

MOULSON HAS PLAYED ON THE SECOND LINE THIS YEAR, AND HAS PLAYED VERY WELL WITHOUT TAVARES...

If Regier is truly asking Miller to waive tomorrow morning, It'd be nice to let Miller play one last game in Buffalo and salute the fans.

Wait to see how he does with Hodgson instead of JT before you offer him a dollar. I predict a first and a prospect
- muffin_man

I do see him moved by the deadline but as 89 said, this has extention written all over it.

Not a chance he plays if that's true. His head wouldn't be in the game at all. Also I find the timing interesting with Lindy making his return tomorrow

Not for Forsberg. Maybe for some CatFish and a signed Weber Jersey.

That's not really true. Look at his stats with JT and without. I think most of his pts this year have been with JT

Which I am ok with as well
- Stripes77

As well you should be. Its a hell of a trade. Darcy, for all his flaws, is the guy you want running this show until a minute before the draft, once all the trades are over.

If Moulson does WELL with Hodgson IMO no question they resign him or try to.

And then there is the Stafford to Washington deal that wasn't submitted before the deadline (supposedly). Anyone think that is still on the table?

And if so, for what?

- Jawallstar1

Do you know what the deal was for at the time?

Wow, Regier is actually pretty solid at making trades. He is absolute garbage with contracts it seems, but he knows how to get a solid a return.

Miller is gotta be going too, wonder what he gets, and after the trades I have to wonder what becomes Moulson. I don't see why he's needed in Buffalo with this team, gone too?

It wasn't reported officially, but the buzz was:
Stafford for Marcus Johansson and a pick
or

The first part is acquiring the rebuilding pieces, that seems to be in the right direction. The second and tougher part is cashing in on the draft picks, Sabres still need a new guy for that.
- Ryan_Wilson

It will be hard to miss with all those picks.

I think any block right now is the fact that the Oil are on the ice....

....that and the fact that Nuge just got his knee crushed by Clifford, the big (frank)ing oaf
