I would have agreed until about an hour ago. With Vanek gone I doubt he wants to stick around here much longer. Watch him go to Edmonton tear it up be named the starter for Team USA, gets the Oilers in the playoffs signs a great deal in the offseason and age gets the better of him.

at the first two. Miller for a late 1st is the only one that would make sense.

Most I could see out of Edm would be their 1st and a prospect

I liked Vanek but not as the team's best player. They should have had a better player as their leader/top talent. I also wasn't infatuated with Vanek because in a lot of games we hardly noticed him.

I still like the chances of Preds looking at Miller with Rinne hurt for an extended period of time for the second straight year...

We retain half the salary and get some offensive help.. maybe hornqvist or klein for the D.

Maybe go bigger idk.. send stafford too

As I said earlier. I love Vanek, he is a great player and I will miss him. You could tell by his play he doesn't wanna be here. I like Moulson but would have preferred a prospect instead. Bottom line, the picks are great, Moulson extended or traded at deadline for more picks either way works for me. I know I am going to go to the next Islanders game to see Vanek off!

So Miller for a guy who has been a healthy scratch is too much but Miller for a first round pick and a prospect isn't?

Bad draft year but should be a nice haul of kids coming into Buff

I don't get why everyone is so low on this draft. The bottom half of the 1st round and lower aren't nearly as good as last draft, but the upper half has elite talent.

Edm would have to have a deal for an extension to even consider that, especially given that the first could be a lotto pick...

As I said earlier. I love Vanek, he is a great player and I will miss him. You could tell by his play he doesn't wanna be here. I like Moulson but would have preferred a prospect instead. I would like to keep Moulson and have him for our rebuild, we can pay him if he wants to be involved in the rebuild or retool.

That first round pick will most likely be in the middle of the first round. Yakupov is a first overall there is a huge difference

If only we could have 3 GMs. Darcy could be in charge of trades and get 2 others to deal with free agent signings and the draft.

Why does everyone want to move Grigs in all these deals.This make no sence at all Grigs aint getting moved.Darcy got everything I wanted and more with Molston.Say what you want about Darcy but he knows how to cut good deals in this league.

Maybe you can get Stastny at the deadline but again he is a ufa at years end.

Miller to the Preds for Forsberg if Rinne is out long.

I totally agree. This team has needed a #1 center since LaFontaine. It can be argued Briere was a #1 center for a year or two but that's a debate for another day.
