you believe that he wasn't at fault for Boston or Pittsburgh either.

Listen, as far as Lindback goes, yeah he is 1-2. his two losses, Boston and Pittsburgh. Lindback played better against Boston than Bishop did. I love both of these guys. Bishop has been awesome for us, and so has Lindback. well, maybe not awesome, but he has played well. He played great in boston, let up a bunch of goals against Pittsburgh (which I debated with Arty that 3-4 of those weren't even his fault), and then he picked up the win tonight. I think people tend to look at stats as opposed to actual in-game situations. For example, the Pittsburgh game. Lindback plays a very different style than Bishop does. Bishop is very calm and stable in net, whereas Lindback is all over the ice, diving and flailing. but hey, if it works so be it.

Bolts are the 1 seed in the Atlantic and sitting in the 1 spot in the Eastern Conference- at least for a game as Boston has played one less. Either way a great start for a notoriously slow starting team. Lindback or Bishop nice arguments both ways but Bishop is playing better and looks more comfortable in net. lindy still looks to be flailing around a little too much but the Bolts were down to 5 Dmen on a back to back. Lindy needs a couple more starts that aren't back to back to see where he stands probably next Friday in Carolina as Bishop will probably start against the Blues on Saturday. Best save of the game- Nate Thompson no doubt. Bishop has stepped up and stolen a couple while Lindy has not so I have to go with Bishop at this point. Plenty of time left in the season but it's nice to have a positive argument about goaltending around here for a change.
Gudas should have his game misconduct denied by the league and a Panther sitting a game. On to beautiful downtown Newark for Tuesday night - why the hell did they put an arena in the battleground -tough centerpiece for redevelopment. Season tickets for the Devils come with a bodyguard. Lol. Sorry Devil fans but been there seen it and yes I would stay at home and watch MSG2 too even having to stand listening to Chico Resch's nauseating commentary.

probably 6 teams from atlantic could make playoffs(based on just early early), but that wont happen...hate the new alignment...

6th in atlantic may be better than 3rd in metro...but (frank) the alignment

Amazingly I could see a scenario where we make a play for Miller. Lindback is pending RFA and may not want to resign as a backup. Bishop has a lot on his shoulders right now and yes he is playing very well but we are talking about a very long season and I freely admit I worry about his ability to sustain his level over 82 games with a true #1 workload. Obviously an injury would increase our "need" for a guy like Miller but if we are in playoff position nearer the deadline I could see a Lindback +/for Miller deal making very good sense.

i dont know, i dont think so...vasilevskiy will be ready as soon as 2 years if everything goes perfectly, which it wont, so more like 3-4 years. what would be the point of paying big $ for ryan miller for just 2-3 years?

if it were up to me there would be a west, and an east. the top 8 teams with the most points would make playoffs. (frank) divisions, (frank) everything..

im tired of seeing the 2nd/3rd seed get in and gain home ice with 92 pts while a team with 102 points in 4th/5th get royally (frank)ed and get stripped of home ice advantage in the play-offs, keep it simple..

east,west...top 8 make playoffs, bottom 8 can (frank) off

Vasi is the future. A Miller move would be about right now. Like I said it's only a scenario that would force this type of move. Bishop holds the cards and his play will dictate any future needs.

No matter how the conferences are aligned, it is simple retardation to have uneven conferences. Just like baseball before Houston moved to the AL, before the move the NL Central had 6 teams and the AL West had 4, yet in baseball they play "unbalanced schedules" meaning they play extra games against division foes. So how they made that work I will never understand simply in that the NL Central teams all played extra division games yet the AL West teams played less division games.
