No. But that's the point. They would have been in the same spot. Give Lindback time to develop. He has all the tools, and he's shown flashes of brilliance. Be patient, Arty. - Michael_Stuart
you guys pay attention to what I say as much as my wife does . take all the negative and ignore the positive . I want Lindback to succeed, for our team and his sake. go look at what I have written. He is decent right now, but inconsistent and screwed up in the head because of Frantz Jean. Bishop is the guy we need to lean on until Lindback can put up a good fight. We can't continue to throw Anders out there knowing that he's struggling and that the Team has NO confidence in him. I WANT HIM TO PLAY WELL!!!!!! |

our team didnt suck the first buffalo game lol we were all over them
it doesnt matter, it is still too early to see who will take the job (if anyone does) 11 games into an 82 game season. there will no doubt be negatives on both sides of the goaltenders and what we can agree on is that we dont care who gets the job, if their letting us win and outplaying the other then its fine. lindback hasnt been brilliant but hes given us chances to win, so has bishop. - RileyB77
7-1 verses 1-2!?! I think Cooper has made his decision. Now it's time for Lindback to prove him wrong and that this fight is FAR from over |

he was part of the whole teams success and struggle. made good stops AND had a couple WTF moments, the same as the whole team. you guys act like every game he's played is perfect and it's everyone else's fault for his record and numbers and that's not true |

Lindback hasn't gotten enough games to fix his record up like bishops ... Who knows , lindback could finish 6-2 in 8 games ... It depends on whether or not the team shows up infront if him really, because both goalies are NHL capable if its a team effort |

he could finish 6-2 and every game be a 6-5 barn burner . for this team to "show up" aka "play like they do in front of Bishop" then Lindback needs to show up like Bishop |

Im not, but you guys are living in a fantasy world thinking that Lindback is on the same playing level as Bishop right now is laughable |

Whose to say that? Lindback is probably lacking confidence because of the lack of games given to him not because of his performances but because of bishops performances , he got the start tonight and it wasn't a 6-5 barn burner , not was the Boston game ... I think he deserves as much games as bishop has been given before we start making any serious debates like this one from a 1-2 record vs a 7-1 record bishop has played way more games not a fair assessment |

Lindback was given game 1 over Bishop, if that not a (frank)ing confidence booster then I don't know what the (frank) is....
Bishop has played more games for 1 reason, he (frank)ing earned them |

When did either of us say that? I said that he had a good night tonight. He did. You disagree. That's all that's happening here. |

No, he wasn't at fault. He wasn't stellar by any stretch of the imagination. But you can't place the losses on his shoulders. He could have been better. |

That's 1 game .... And he played just fine , then bishop gets what 7 straight? It's not like lindback let in 25 goals he let in 3 and played very well against Stanley cup runner ups... IN Boston ... |

I'm not going to argue this anymore. If you're content to blame the goaltender for every loss this season, you're entitled to do that. G'night. |

3 games, then Pittsburgh. anyway, I'm with Michael, I (frank)ing done arguing about this poop. I like Bishop, I believe in both of them, but in my eyes Lindy has his work cut out for him if he hopes to take this top spot in Coopers heart back from Bishop. I'm gonna go to bed and dream about you girlfriend.... goodnight |

If Lindback was on the same team then he would have been in the same place.
I haven't given up on anybody. he needs to get his poop right and consistent to make this fight for the number 1 spot a real fight, because Bishop is female dog slapping him all over North America right now. - Artyukhin76
I can't really fault lindback right now because he really is not getting in games because bishop has been so good. with rinne hurt in nashville I bet they would love to have lindback back right now. |

all I know is we are in first place and the only teams we have lost to have been the penguins and bruins. This is a much better start then I could have even hoped for. |

I don't remember who the shooters were, but he had a real nice sequence later in the game too. Sprawled across the crease to stop a couple grade-A chances. - Michael_Stuart
perhaps the one on Bergenheim's wrap-around? (that we Lightning fans are very familiar with!) |
