We have enough scoring and forwards.
We need a bigger tougher D. Smid isn't cutting it. Ference isn't cutting it. Schultz and Petry are great with the ouch but need better partners to clear the front of the net.If we make any trades it should be for D. Not like the Islanders ignoring their D and goaltending when its by far their issue.

Edit: they give up a 1st and a 2nd for a marginal upgrade on one player and said player is ufa. Terrible asset management IMO.

I thought we need Gagner? I have rather enjoyed Arco- he can at least make simple plays with ease- ie dumping the puck out of the defensive zone when under pressure- something our top liners even struggle with... and he has been giving us more than expected IMO.... Anyone else impressed with Lander and his potential last night- I know I was

I honestly dont see room for all these players once the team gets healthier... I dont want to see Smyth replace anyone from last night IMO... but he is useful when he is on the bench LOL

Nick... he played with some grit last night- the clifford hit was awesome... as for Jultz- lots of plays ended off his stick too last night... if he could play even better defense it would be great...

What the (frank) for- we have Bachman now...

I believe our scoring has not been the primary problem- its system play, goaltending, defense and of course special teams (which played very good last night) IMO... but your right we do need to trade for some guys with size- I want Mackintyre to take care of Willie Mitchell right now he and Greene were rather dirty last night...

Nick is realizing that he has to be better. He was a good d-man for us when we got him. He moved the puck quite well those 20 games as well. If he can get back to that play our defense will be a lot better.

As for J.Schultz he like Eberle and RNH, makes very smart plays at times. Problem is he makes bad ones too. I liked him late in the game picking up on Jeff Carter's NHL14 moves.

Incidentally, there's some kind of joke about the disallowed goal to be made...possibly a pun surrounding Frattined/Flattened...maybe an Asian hockey commentator?

Hahaha....I wish I would have watched the game but there were a lot better options yesterday!

Anyway's, the Oilers probably don't need (and probably shouldn't go after) Miller.

I heard he might be injured. Not sure.

Ference is a good physical and consistent d-man. Problem like everyone else they don't look good because we don't have a top pairing.
