Who are you?

And Arcobello is amazing, winning faceoffs, 10 points, ect.

And you can't spell Gagner right...?

- Oilers4Life14

Arcobello needs to be replaced yesterday. Good for him for holding his own (sort of) in the show, but he is not an NHL ready player. He has missed a wide open cage in pretty much every game and they seem to come at the most crucial of times. He can't shoot, period. Either that or he fumbles and stumbles with his nerves and doesn't even get the shot off!

He was also 1/2 of the reason we lost the game vs. Phoenix deflecting it into his own net.

Open your eyes. I can only assume that you are also 5ft nothing and sympathize with him...because you're giving him way too much credit. He's not a liability on defense...he's solid, and he doesn't totally "hurt" the team...but he adds nothing.

...and anyone else on the planet would have potted at least three of those gimmees. I think he's had 7or8 of them.

I'd usually be the guy to say that, but I'm judging based on his style of play... Positionally he was fantastic and he was very athletic... Plus he was calm as (frank). It didn't look like a fluke to me. I'm mostly basing it off of the attributes I noticed tonight.

I totally agree with this post. Whatever the score was, it was refreshing to see a goaltender who actually tracked the puck, who moved QUICKLY, with a sense of urgency. Bachman was, above anything else, competing. He is a rookie, trying to secure a spot, a career, etc., but it was so great to see a guy in nets that looked like he gave a sh I t. I'm so tired of Dubnyk's hohum lazy attitude.

There were at least 4 tough saves that he made that I said to myself..."Dubnyk would've let that by". at least 4.

Call on me again and tell me "it was only TWO games...take it easy"

... It was one game, guys. One hell of a good game, but one game all the same. Definitely keep him as a backup and let him play until he has a stinker, but Dubnyk is our starter.
- MaximumBone

What is it with the love for Dubey?
Has he carried the team to playoffs? No
Has he won us games or given us a chance all by himself? Only one game (vs Columbus)
Is he poised, calm, collected? No
The list goes on and on, Dubey is not our guy and if we put him on waivers nobody picks him.
Not saying Bachman is, but at this point anything is an upgrade from Dubey. With Dubey in net yesterday we would have lost 14-1.

You don't waive Dubey, might be the dumbest thing I've read on this site in the past 48 hours.

Bachman had one good game, but there is a reason why Dallas let him go and replaced him with Dan Ellis.

Have we heard the timeframe on Pitlick's injury?

I suspect we will hear more today. Team will be back in Edmonton if they aren't already.

Not to get too excited but from his first game and a half he looked like he could be a permanent NHLer.

I think they were planning on keeping him up for awhile, but now he is faced with yet another injury.

The one thing that I picked up the most from the game was Jones scrapping. Real nice to see he has confidence now.

No, you are the dumbest thing on this site. I'm not saying you make Bachman your number one, I just say is a nice example on how anyone would be better, it's time to bring somebody else, dubey has no trade value.

This idiot cannot win us games. Period.

Terrible goalies that aren't in the NHL are clearly way better.
