The trick for professional coaches is to manage the peaks and valleys of the season and to have those peaks come in April, May, June. - Ryan_Wilson
Yeah that's what I am saying. I hope they are managing the "valleys" different then in the past because it seems to be the same trend happening season after season. The pens will be fine its just would be nice to see adjustments happen on the fly when a team is in a funk. Obviously we are not in the locker room so they might be trying to manage this but its not translating to the ice.
On a side note I thought D'Agostini played well on Saturday. |

Night and day i'm sure. Maybe cars that are less than $600 just handle in the snow better? I don't know... - canadianpenfan
It has nothing to do with the cars. It has to do with the panicky little things behind the steering wheel. |

The D pairs with Scuderi missing: Orpik-Martin, Niskanen-Letang, Maatta-Bortuzzo/Engelland.
That pairing has a -3 written all over it tonight |

If you think they are bad you should see the ones here in Central Pennsylvania. A dusting will cause schools to delay/cancel. Its snowed a inch and no one at my office came to work. Quite amusing. |

Oh that's basically Calgary. If the road is wet that city basically shuts down. |

That's a scary thought. Scud's missing creates a huge hole. |

You can't listen to Ben. His roads are made of dirt and his '82 F-150 with stainless steel mags is the only vehicle on the road. Everyone else was smart enough to get out of that poophole a long time ago. |

Yes it's the same here in Western Maryland. Weather wussies. Ooooo I can't go out and drive because there is a CHANCE of snow. I have never seen such fear of nothing in my life. And if it really does snow a foot or more, my God you might as well start a week long poker game. They don't believe in shoveling themselves out. Then they gripe because the city hasn't plowed out their personal driveway. Oooooo poor babies. Honestly. What does it teach the children if we cannot be resourceful when there is a skiff of snow? |
