What we need now is an effective minutes eating defenseman, preferrably with some offensive kick. that guy might be a current prospect but he's 4 yrs away from that. no team is going to wait four yrs. there'll be a trade and people will complain because you need to move a piece. just kike like jvr and schenn. Getting sick of the constant part swapping. Let's trade away some good young talent for a fatso who we think MIGHT work with the team. Then let's complain that our prospects are developing elsewhere and are now in their prime on other teams.

Let's trade for a fatso, and when his career is over when the bench collapses under his weight and all the players fall on top of him, forever rendering his legs useless, we'll lament about that for a little bit, and then move on to the next big trade acquisition the moment the team starts to suck again, trading away the youth we might have drafted. Then the cycle starts all over again.

This poop is sick and it needs to stop. This is not a game of whack a mole trading and this is not how you build a team.
