who said anything about Thomas or the cup??? All I'm saying is as long as the NHL has morons like Bettman, Shanahan and Campbell running the league, it will always be on par with the WNBA, a 4th rate league
- Fl Sabres Fan

Well I figured while weed smoking conspiracy theories were being launched... Also I get things are not good in Buffalo right now and you guys do deserve better but the WNBA? I think we can agree NOTHING is that bad!

Come on Ty? Really? Erikkson a top 6 forward??? What a joke. I don't even know how you have a blog???

Also your John Scott Rant was pathetic as a 2 year old crying for Ice Cream. Yes he hit the guy in the head, and gets what he deserves.

Chara should be suspended for his hit as well. 10 Game Minimum.

You wanna clean up head hits, Automatic 10 Games.

Last 3 years almost a ppg.... He would be top 6 on the majority of the teams in the league you fool. How a Sabres fan can argue Loui isn't a Top-6 guy is MIND BOGGLINGGGG

no it wouldn't, hockey is a great sport, should be at least on par with the NBA, but as long as those guys are running it, it will never be

It won't be. It's widely considered a niche game. The NBA has tons of points and dunks! DUNKS!

With how bad the Sabres are doing can you really blame a fan for not wanting to look at the statistics?

Every team has a history of being "dirty". Hockey is a violent game, people are fast, people get hurt. Plain and simple. Remember when Stuart (frank)ed up Landeskog, Sharks fans? Things happen fast on the ice.

The Chara hit on Wingels, to many anyways, just looked like a big guy hitting a little guy. If Chara doesn't finish that check he gets a mouthful from Julien. I think we need to remember that hockey involves contact, contact involves injury. Every time somebody gets their bell rung we can't go on a crusade.

Don't even have to go back to Landeskog/Stuart (or Perron/Thornton). We've got Nash/Stuart (suspension) this year for those with short memories.

That said, given the hit on Boyle (Lapierre, suspension), the shots that Hertl has taken (including Edler, suspension), the two high hits on Wingels last night (Dougie Hamilton first, then Chara), and Burns' injury... I think most Sharks fans are a bit touchy on head injuries. There's been a lot, and we're only 10 games in.

Great game last night for the Sharks, but came away with nothing. Time to regroup against Montreal/Ottawa (which I'm sure will make the Boston crowd happy).

Rask saved the Bruins ass last night. I'm amazed SJ didn't win. Yes beating Montreal would be sweet!

Globally soccer is the most popular sport in the world, so that's a silly comparison

go ahead and say what you want. from an economical stand point the league has never been in better shape and in the opinion of the owners Gary Bettman has done a wonderful job.

and hockey will never be more popular than basketball in the US. and the soccer comment was just silly.

can you please try to reasonably figure out why this is and not ignorantly "blame" gary bettmen and brendan shanahan for the unfortunate situation you think the league finds itself?
