- AlEx_OiL

probably not.
I think theyre loving foligno.
id even consider a resigned ott instead of foligno. but id push hard for him

Hmmm if it's for myers and Otto then no,Oil need to get Foligno for Yak in that deal.

Myers has regressed pretty hard. Although he's always been pretty raw, and I think that Calder season made him appear better than he really was. Actually maybe he didn't regress defensively so much as he just didn't improve, and then obviously his scoring totals regressed. I think he's had to help carry Buffalo's blueline too much when he just isn't capable of it yet. He needs to be sheltered more to get his game on track.
- Jack-artist

he gets thrust right back into a top 4 role here...

he's a huge gamble. but Ive seen him at his best and it's dominant.
if he could get back to that form, we win the deal no matter what ott/foligno/yak do
but we could also end up with an untradeable anchor around our necks

agreed.
no shortcuts.

we get the value we want, or we keep him.

im just getting so frustrated as he's literally doing NOTHING for us at present.
but not only that, I can see the types of players that could help us so much more than he could. even if he was playing well..

I still have my doubts that Foligno even becomes a top sixer. Ott's a little old and pretty well a third liner. I'd rather just try to go for him as a UFA. Yaks' value isn't too high right now, but I like the chances of him at least reaching somewhat near his potential over relying Myers who's pretty well a wild card to make an impact these days, even if Foligno's a good piece coming back.

There's a lot of risk. Similar to trading for Yak right now. But Yak's had a bad ten games, where Myers has had a rough couple seasons.

I know, was Eberle or Nudge that had a bad second season?I don't know why but I have this feeling that once Gagner gets back that could help Yak big time,Gagner plays that same style of game like Yak very aggressive,I do hope I'm right because I would like to see Yak be that big time score forward with the Oil and not another team.

nuge struggled in his second season (last year). although he was nursing an injury.
eberle's best was his second. 76 points.

and yes, they did play together last season and have some success...we'll see.
depending on how long till gags is back, we might already have 1 foot in the grave by that point tho. im really hoping mact doesn't wait till it's too late to try and save this season. fuk man. we really need the playoffs

From what I heard Gagner could be back soon, well is not going to be easy next 2 games,Oil could be 3-9-1 after those two

A lot of season left. Dubnyk's looked to turn around, and we're on the unlucky side of the luck paradigm while still keeping up with most teams. New coach, new systems, new tactics to get used to.

Btw I think Eakin should have the players have 10 shots minimum on every PP they get,not matter from where those shots are coming from or if they are getting block but have 10 shots, right now I think they only get 2 to 3 shots and pass the puck around wayyyyyyyyyy to much.

you might be done at that point.
I realize there's lots of season left and we need to remain optimistic, but for realz, u have to play over .600 hockey the rest of the way to have a chance if u dig that kind of hole for yourself.

about 39 wins and ten ot losses in the final 70 to make it happen. that's like points in 50 of the 70 remaining games...
40-20-10....doubt it

That's what I have notice too,not sure if it's to do with the way the coach sets the PP or the players not passing to Yak,we all know Yak have that quick shot from the right but not sure what's going on.

(frank) man, leave the kid alone. Im so sick of hearing his name the past 2 weeks. He is only in his 2nd season. He will be star someday.

Trade us RNH for Galchenyuk, Tinordi and a pick..... Reunite Gally and Yak

I think RNH is and will be the superior player so that's not too bad a trade for MTL. tinordi is unproven so he doesn't add that much value to make it near lopsided.

Seriously though. The oil need to make a move and improve this team now. Not at the deadline now.

They need a bigger forward and a beast two-way dman. Until then they won't be a good team. Two playets they should look at simmonds and Stewart. Both big mean and can play. They noth aren't playing great so they could get moved
