Speak for yourself, douche. Tallon is doing a good job.

yeah he's doing a great job.... Team will finish last once again this year. No clear cut 1st overall pick and then they will be just good enough to miss out on McDavid. This organization is a joke, and you sir have no clue what you're talking about.

Markstrom the future? he sucks
Gudbranson is on our 3rd D pairing. 3rd overall pick?? not worth it.

Upshall gets scratched. Great 3.2 million dollar investment.

Jovo hasn't played for 2 year Another 4.5 million dollar waste.

Campbell blows. 7 million dollar waste.

Keep believing in the lies. Huberdeau and Barkov are apart of a LOSING CULTURE, you can already see the frustration in their faces. Just watch this game going on, they are done already and it's only the first period lol bahahahaha

It's getting really hard to support this team night in and night out. They play seemingly every game from behind, so it's actually impressive they win as much as they do. Its amazing how hard it is for this group to simply score a goal. Its aggonizing to watch sometimes.

I mean, isn't it telling when Buffalo decides its a good start for Enroth that this is a no goal scoring team? And then that move works out great? Its crazy.

I'm sorry, but Markstrom doesn't show me much of the potential that he is lauded about. Sure, he has some really nice saves here and there, but he is very consistently giving up soft goals. I just keep finding myself yelling that the TV for him to keep his damn stick down, the ouck always finds a way through the fiv hole on the guy. He has had a pretty good chunk of time to get to speed, 40ish starts a year since 2010 split mostly in AHL, good bit in NHL. Starting to run out of time on saying 'Oh he's still young and learning the ropes'.

The hope and promise in this team is actually more with the owner than the players. Maybe we will finally have an owner that will go get a legit scorer. This next offseason CANNOT be filled with Scottie Upshalls and Jessie Winchesters. I wouldn't mind a long term goalie solution either. We got a Rangers fan as an owner, lets look at Gaborik, Girardi, hell, give Lundqvist a call, why not. Just try soemthing, even if its not a chance in hell, at least make an effort to get some legit high price talent. Every training camp, I feel like I'm in the movie Major League looking at the spring training roster. No more Cerano and Dorn's!!

The roster isn't exactly void of talent, so even though this isn't much of a playoff team, they should still be doing better than this. I'm sure this will level and we won't be around a .250 win percent all year, but this team needs a lot of help before it becomes a playoff team, let alone a contender. I'd expect Dineen is about out of time here. Not sure if thats the right or wrong move, but at least it would be a sign of life from the front office to try and improve... The building is full of away fans because Panther fans, or locals otherwise, don't feel like spending their weekend nights watching the team not score for 60 minutes.

The bottom line with the team right now is being ready to play from the drop of the puck and playing for a full 60 minutes.

If they play the way they do when they are down two goals whilst they are even or ahead then they will get better more consistent results.

Grading this team on a game to game basis is irrelevant until the effort is a constant.

The only BUM,PATHETIC,JOKE here is you!
Markstrom doesn't suck. Does he need more work, obviously, but to say that he sucks and imply that the Panthers made yet another bad pick is assinine. Whether Markstrom lets in a soft goal or two shouldn't matter if his offense could bury some buscuits. Markstrom could play a great game, and only let in one goal but if the Panthers fail to score, then Markstrom looks like a bad goalie.
Markstrom will pan out.

Gudbranson is great. No one expected him to be scoring 20-30 goals a season but he is playing better and better as each game passes. This team needs toughness and he brings that by the truck-loads. It takes D men time to develop and Guds hasn't reached his full potential yet.

We all knew what we were getting with Jovo and Upshall, so there should be no surprise there. Tallon had to get to the cap floor, which is why he spent the money. Upshall is no 40 goal scorer, he's a 4th line grinder. He brings a little grit and spark to the 4th line, even if it's a little bit.
Jovo does need to retire, but again, Tallon needed to spend money and he brought in vet players who could fill the roster. Jovo brings leadership, if nothing else. Most of these contracts you speak of come off the books soon.

Campbell is a future hall-of-famer who is probably one of our best D. You can't fault one player for the entire team not gelling and playing sound hockey.

Huberdeau and Barkov aren't frustrated because " they are a part of a losing culture" blah, blah, blah, it's because they want to win and score goals. I am sure they are tired of losing, as is the rest of the team.

all in all, I blame Viner. we can speculate all we want but when push comes to shove, if the team was sold prior to free agency, I believe Weiss ( or Lecavlier) would be on the team. Weiss may not be a true #1 center, but he is better than Goc,Matthias, Barkov(For now) and Gomez. We could've had some chance at bringing in some real talent and not the likes of Whitney and Crabb.

Well, I stated long ago, you will not bait me into your psycho-nonsense. So in advance I apologize for this short response.

Tallon is doing a good job, and others have made the points here on his professionalism, so I don't wish to rehash. The two kids we drafted the last two years are the best scorers available to us at that time, he went by Jones to address the scoring.

I will however admit that I'm not feeling strong with Dineen, and I may not being fair with him. If there is no visible improvement by December 1, I'd have to rethink things. Honestly don't know who I'd rather have, not sold on laviolette. Talllon has been fairly strong on his moves.

I have to agree with you here. I am just not sure what exactly is the issue. Tallon is doing a good job, but he has made some questionable moves..i.e. Brennan. Is it a coaching issue? Is Dineen the problem? Murphy? Tallas? I know I wonder bout Dineen because of the Jovo being captain situation. We all know Jovo won't be here much longer, whether he's a great leader on and off the ice, so why does the Panthers have to have a revolving door for captains? Why couldn't Dineen choose someone who's a little younger and who will be around a lot longer? Gudbranson maybe? Campbell? Same goes with coaches. Are there better opinions as far as coaching is concerned? Is it scouting? What about stregnth and conditioning coach? We seem to have a lot of muscle-type injuries, are those conditioning coaches not knowledgable enough? Was is the lack of funds by our previous owner? Will Tallon now have more room to realistically be able to improve this club the way he had planned? Would having another big trade like Booth a few seasons ago, to spark this team to compete and find some consistancy? Who gets traded? Versteeg?Upshall? Kulikov? What's up with Jovo?
