Going off of recent idea here but does anyone think we could send Miller to the Preds? Filip Forsberg has been a healthy scratch as of late

Borderline insanity up in Buffalo. This season doesn't matter. Nobody ever had any hopes that we would make the playoffs. All this does it simply give Carter Hutton some more playing time, and we may get to see what Magnus Hellberg can do a game or two. We're not even considering looking for a goaltender right now. Even if JC himself was in net, we still can't score, and we would lose in shootouts every night. And Forsberg was only scratched last game to send a message to him.

You can have Backstrom. For free. I will even pay his salary personally. Just please take him.

EK is such a joke. You should never, ever take what he says as truth. You think his rumors will pan out when the guy can't even put a rumor blog up that he promised he would?

He's done this over a half dozen times the last while. You can't even call him a rumor guy anymore - he's a half ass blogger now. Nothing more.

doesn't matter. the preds are stingy enough to hang in there and beat the oilers out by 1 point in the last game of the season.

Of course the Predators are going to make the playoffs. There was never any doubt for fans who have paid attention for fifteen years. Why any Preds fan would have any doubt I'll never understand. Have you not seen what Trotz has done for fifteen years even the years we had zero talent. We don't have a Crosby or Ovi sniper but we do score and we do win. Everyone wants to have a scoring star or four but not everyone does. Like Trotzy said, "This isn't fantasy hockey." We acquired the "right" guys in free agency. They were the guys we needed for THIS team. Watch the chemistry, the drive, the hustle and the defensive prowess of our guys. We're not a Cup team but this years Preds are going to be better than many teams. I expect nothing less than the playoffs. Poile and Trotz and Korn have more than earned the faith of us fans, so have some.
