No,no,no and huh?
Also just wanted to point out the
Oil are not as bad as the record. 3-6-1 and "should" be 6-3-1. Goaltending has turned it right around the past week. Gifted 2 points to Winnepeg, Toronto, Islanders. Could have gotten points against Habs in first game as well.
We'll see where everyone is in another 10 games.... |

haha...I was just kidding
I do think they kind of rushed the Nuge, only because of his size though that's all.
As for the rest of your statement about how the Oil should be 6-3-1...well... |

Next bet. The Oilers are below .600 hockey from ten games to today.
Take it or leave it. |

Nuge should've won the Calder. Yak too. Hall too...
If you had said Gagner, Cogliano, MPS, I would agree they were probably rushed.
Ya woulda, shoulda, coulda but reality is they are 3-6-1.... |

I get the impression the "unofficial release" or "leaked" pictures were used to get a reaction before being released...companies do this all the time so they can make tweaks before releasing products. |

Let's make it the Flames. In their next ten they'll be less than .550 |

Ramo was given the go ahead for Dallas, also gio and stajan could be in for that game too. Both game time decisions. |

Dallas Eakins. - Colin Dambrauskas
Seriously though, and I know its a debate, but arguments could be made for all 3 of your 1st overalls. What was Hall's weight in yr 1? I just think given his type of game, reckless, developing physically may and repeat may have helped him avoid some of these injuries.
RNH still has a child's weight. The difference between him and Monahan is that Mony is around 200lbs. Again its all debatable. As the season goes keeping Monahan may prove to have been a bad choice.
For Yaks, I think he lacks maturity. Schultz too could have used time in the A to develop more of a defensive game. I'm not trolling the Oilers, its nust a debatable topic. |

Good stuff. Not having Gio in the lineup made a huge difference too... really scrambly trying to clear our zone, especially in the 1st. |

This is a right move. One thing I've noticed this year is they're relentless. Their effort is absolutly great and you can tell how badly they want to prove people wrong about them tanking this year. Despite that they are a rebuilding team with very little skill and effort isn't going to give you wins every night. Since Monahan Is on a lesser skilled team he has the opportunity to play lots of minutes and gain nhl experience. Since the flames management know that there is a possibility of them finishing last it is the perfect time for Monahan to learn from his mistakes because the flames aren't expecting to be a strong team. Therefore if those mistakes are to cost us a game it isn't a big deal because he will learn from those.
Going back to the team I have to give Bob Hartly some tremendous credit for giving this band of misfits an identity. A couple of our games we were down pretty good and in past year you would have seen them give up. This year you've seen a team that won't quit and give up and try and comeback into the game. That is another thing that won't hurt the rookies as opposed to Edmonton. Tom renny was okay with losing while the flames although they know they aren't going to win they try their best to every night. That will be the difference. Because of bob Hartley even if this team finishes last in the standings they will still have a winning mentality |

Hall, Nuge, Yak, Nurse - The-O-G
Hall and nuge are debatable. Mentally they were ready physically they could have used some time. Yak could have waited considering it was only a half season therefore more time for him to bulk up and oilers management to refine his game in the OHL. Also they're kinda screwing with him this year considering he lead the team in goals last year and this year he's struggling to stick when he is definitely better than they're third and fourth liners. That's just mixed signals which we are all know screws a players development (Ie. paajarvi). I don't know how you have nurse on this list considering they sent him back to the ohl especially considering he had such a strong preseason |

RNH and Hall could only go back to Juniors. Hall was MVP 2 years in a row, what else could he learn from that league? RNH, earned his spot in the NHL just like Monahan.
Justin Schultz lead all AHL defenceman last year, he proved he was ready for the NHL. |
