who was that guy that used to play for the leafs that had blazing speed... he always got the puck at our blueline and skated all the way down, then behind the net and around and around he went... he never passed, took pisspoor shots on net.... we need that guy back, he's a corsi king.

as for your "so many", again, personally, i'm not sure how you folks in Toronto all went off the deep end with this thing because it's nowhere near as prevalent as you guys like to make it out to be. but if some people have a certain opinion of these stats, who cares? everything will come out in the wash and the teams that earn their way into the playoffs will make the playoffs. but you guys are gonna wear yourselves out over this Corsi crap by January.

Most of it is in response to the arguments from Corsinians that the Leafs were lucky last year - undeserving of their standings because they didn't line up with what Corsi would suggest. Since Leafs continued success shouldn't happen according to Corsi, maybe the stats aren't being used properly.
