not for gardiner - no thanks

gardiner is upper eche, he just need more NHL playing time to round out his game.

- big_dion

He has started to play more aggressively on the body. We just need to be patient with him, that's all.

thing is...I believe Dallas has been using him as their number one shutdown line so would be tough to let him go. Hes getting most of the tougher assignments.
- Colin Dambrauskas

Dallas is last in the west

robidas is my age.. 36.

last year of his contract. and the stars are trying to go younger. this is the type of guy who could probably be pried away from them if they continue to sit in the west basement

With the way Gonchar and Goligoski have been playing, I can't see them moving any D-man right now. Maybe if they fall out of it.
- stormey

thats what i mean.. its looking like it wont be long before they are way out of it

Trade deadline deal, that could make a lot of sense. Except no 1st rounders

yeah I suppose...but who do the Leafs offer up for someone like that? And is it even worth it as you want to snag him for a strong playoff run...which the Leafs arent quite ready for just yet imo.

Good God. The thread this morning is more of a train wreck than when we used to fight over Nikon vs. Canon.

So how about John Scott.

My personal opinion is what a dork.

My leaf fan opinion hates the bruins so much I don't really care....

if he has a couple years left in him i'd be fine with moving one of our defensive prospects like blacker or percy

Hmm, these are the trades that make you pull your hair out. It's a tough one forsure, I'd lean to no only for the fact that we're not ready for a cup run yet.

Percy really impressed in camp and will be a good one. But I'm sure that would be the kind of player Dallas would ask for.

and would oprobably get from a team looking to make a strong playoff run and wants a lil more vet stability on the back end

i'd want at least a verbal on an extension before giving up too much tho

It's pretty clear to everyone that Scott is a mindless (frank) who is only out to injure. After last night's hit it's also pretty clear that Scott is a coward and needed to do something stupid to get his ass suspended so he wouldn't have to answer to McLaren and Orr on November 15th and 16th, which are the 10th and 11th upcoming Sabres games.

Scott gets:
- 5 games for the hit
- 5 games for being a douche
- 5 games because a Bruins player was injured and Jacobs said so
