No, they have no place in this league, especially Scott, he couldn't stick handle if his life depended on it.

He's only there to do one thing, injure other teams good players. How is this acceptable in a proffesional league?

There was no need for Scott to do what he did. You don't go after elite players like that.... What is so hard to understand about that?

I don't think anyone said otherwise,I certainly didn't. I like his we played last year. Tough and physical. But they also didn't send out Orr to jump around and lead with elbows and hit guys in the head.

The point was that Bixll said that McClaren was a far better player than Orr and Scott.

Like I said, I agree when it comes to players like Scott...but to say that goons in general have no place in the NHL is just not accurate. Some goons out there can actually skate and contribute. Scott....not so much, but the guy is a beast and coaches like to have those guys on their side.
