Gardiner was great last night

And Ranger was a rung or 2 above adequate.  I'd go so far as to say he had a good game for a bottom pairing NHL defenseman.

bookmark this and lets take a look again after 40 games. interesting to see where teams are at. Col. had a team .960+ sv% ..that cant continue

Why?
There will be some numbers that don't agree with Corsi or Fenwick or whatever even 40 games from now.
The explanation will be "outliers","unsustainable","luck" etc.
These stats do not take into account,

Quality of shots
Skill level of shooter
