Media Release: #Canucks have recalled defenceman Yann Sauve from the #AHL @UticaComets.

Head scratcher here, since the Canucks have injured forwards, and the D is healthy.

Probably plan to play Weber as a F, and Alberts is likely in Torts bad books.

Still, while Sauve has improved from last season from the games I've watched this year, he's still a fire drill in his own end, and certainly isn't the D who merits a call up.

Was actually surprised he made the Comets over Polasek, who's outplayed him at every level.

Goons don't exist on the big ice because they literally can't up. Too much space for them to simply clog the lane.

Who knows, There must be a forward on Utica that can slide into the 4th line, wouldn't expect much playing time as the 4th line sees only around 7 minutes max a game and often much less.

Torts only plays his 4th line for 2-4mins/game. So really any player could be up. Something's in the works, but I don't think it's a waive b/c they could have waived someone as soon as they called up sauve. Maybe Alberts+ for Toots if Detroit retains some salary.

Burrows is not worth 4.5m per year. He was when he was making 2m, but not anymore. Look at the Sharks and Hawks for example.

You are clueless.Burrows is worth every dollar, he gets paid for what he does.the guy plays in all situations and is clutch.he comes up big in the big games.he compares well against other teams players.also couture is ahead of pavelski on the depth chart...
