I really hope Sal Retires, we cut ties with Zid and buy out Volchenkov. I am going to get killed here but try and sign Phaneuf for under 6 and let Gelinas and Larsson play and give Merril one more year of AHL unless he really is going to be a top 2 guy right out of the gate.

I say we stay with Volchenkov and buy out Clowe. Then, with that money we can sign Phaneuf. Let go of Jagr, Brodeur, Olesz, Zid, Lokti (I'm missing a few, I'm sure) and sign Vanek or, dare I say, Callahan. Bring up Merill and/or Gelinas.
