I think Dregs has been out to lunch lately with some of his Leaf speculation.
Why look for a forward with Clarkson coming back??
We need a tough, stay at home Dman, not Dimitri KHL-o-kov.
It will be great to have Fraser back, the D needs help Big time IMO.

How good is JVR!? Big dudes got some hands, its a real treat watching him and Kessel play together. Its been many years since i've enjoyed watching some Leafs forwards take it to the other teams!

You beat me too it. It's Philly, a lot of what they do doesn't make sense. They got rid of him after they received Simmonds and B.Schenn, didn't they? Perhaps they thought they would do better. JVR has been great to watch this season! |

No doubt. Someone here yesterday commented how JVR should be considered an untouchable on this team. I am starting to fully agree with that. He's only going to get better and those passes he dished to Phil last night were sick!

Honestly if the shot situation plays out more like this game (minus only 2 shots in the first) then we should be fine. They may have only had 23 shots, but they seriously limited the Ducks chances and that's a team strong when 5 on 5. Leafs have the skillset to pounce on the right chances, just have to play harder and create opportunities.
The cap crunch should be less severe now that we've got Clarkson back and not carrying around that dead cap space. Hopefully stabilize the second line with Kadri and Lupul.
Be nice if this was a turning point performance. They can win games if they play like they did in the second and third. Limit the opposition, just don't strangle your own offense to death at the same time. |

yeah, cox also said that Clarkson cant return soon enough for the leafs.. so he can rescue the Leafs!!!
