I would have liked Omark to get another shot too. The guy is the leading scorer in OKC so he must be doing something right. I don't get why they bring up a couple of grinders when the leading scorer gets injured.

All fan bases overrate their own players. We all know that is true.

So, in keeping with that tradition, from a Leafs' fan perspective (and not one known for being particularly homerish), I would not do Rielly for Yak straight up.

I am concerned about the "Russian" factor. Like it or not, it exists. Also, scoring wingers are not what the Leafs need. We need a 1st line center, and even more than that we need a big D who can actually play defense and is physical.

Last year Krueger didn't have a clue what he was doing, and couldn't implement a system to save his life... This year Eakins is acting like the MacBlender, so it's hard to build consistency.
