I think someone stated that Eberle was fine to play and was just nursing a bruised hip.

He sure is going to make things interesting next year in camp. Can't go to the AHL and will be battling other young guys such as Klefbom, Marincin, Davidson among others.
- Lahey

If Nurse is not on the Oilers next season, I'll send the Oilers a very stern letter and that they won't even read. Klefbom, Marincin, Davidson etc can wait to later on.

i think ur keys to the game are really not thought out...

The oilers can score, we all know that...

The problem, is keeping it out of their net. The keys to the game for them should hover around that IMO...

If they follow ur game plan, they are toast!

Habs is an abbreviation of "les habitants," the informal name given to the original settlers of New France, dating back to the 17th Century. So it's a natural fit for the The Montreal Canadiens, established in 1909 and marketed as a French-Canadian hockey team.

Having said that, the nickname might have been the result of an error. According to NHL.com, the first man to refer to the team as "the Habs" was Tex Rickard, owner of Madison Square Garden, in 1924. Rickard apparently told a reporter that the "H" on the Canadiens' sweaters was for "Habitants." Not true. The distinctive C-wrapped-around-H logo stands for "Club de Hockey Canadien."

But the ''H'' on the sweater stands of Hockey (as in Canadiens Hockey Club) hence, the logo...

A friend of mine, who is like 5'9, met Brian Gionta who is listed at 5'7 and he said he was significantly, as in more than 2 inches, taller than him.

So what you are saying is that no one actually really knows why they are called 'the habs'. Similar as to why no one understands how gravity works.

I'm around 6'1''... Cleary is listed at 6'0'' but the top of his head is pretty much level to my eyes. I'd say he's no taller than 5'9''

NHL players are liars as well. They say the average penis is 5.5-6'' or something... Truth be told, it's probably like 3 inches Everyone is a (frank)ing liar!!! Except for me...

Having a source would be great. Too many commenters saying Raycroft, and by too many, i really only mean Lahey and Byfuglien.
- ChetManly

I only posted that because Buff in one thread said another goalie so I threw out his whole Raycroft angle and never looked back.
