So what do you guys think happens with Arcobello once Gags is back? He's looked really competent so far. You'd wish he had a better shot but his skating, defence, playmaking and defence is pretty solid. Good underlying numbers.

Can he skip waivers or what?

He would have to clear wavers and no way that a team doesnt pick him up so he stays with us for the long haul

It's a lack of common sense more than anything. Common sense dictates that if one system isn't working, the coach ought to make some adjustments. Common sense dictates you shoot the puck on the PP. Common sense dictates you drive the net when in possession. Unfortunately, everyone affiliated with this team seems retarded.

So what happened tonight.

Honest question, did they just look more fundamentally solid, or was it a case of the young guys waking up and working harder?

Either way ... thanks Oilers

Pitlick (31st overall in 2010) is great!

Mark Arcobello (signed April 2011) continues to impress.

Eager and Jones (signing, waiver acquisition in 2011) were a mixed bag.

Overall, good night for the Tambelini era.

I doubt that somebody wouldn't snag with the way he is playing right now. I'd say he has earned himself a spot.

Dubnyk Played AWESOME.
Our second line really tilted the ice tonight. Perron and Hemmer are really clicking together and i'd love to see them together.
Yak showed some promise but he seems nervous with the puck. I really feel he needs some confidence; so he can find some open ice and make plays.
Eberle was great whule nuge had his moments.

Our defence was pretty meh. Were clearly missing that number one gyt. Someone tell NYR and St.Louis its not fair to hog all the number 1 guys.

DUBNYK
(frank) all the Leafs fans telling us he sucks.

I think he stays and Gags goes to the wing to start anyways. Gives us more options on ice.

They woke up in the 2nd and started shooting the puck and using the boards to make plays. They buttoned it down defensively at the right times and kept the majority of the shots to the outside. The 1st period was bad, but they battled back and used common sense!

But where do you find him ice time? With Gagner back he becomes the "third" line center? The same way Yakupov is the 7th winger.

Do the Oilers try to find a trade for him? You wouldn't get much back for a guy with like 10 NHL games. Plus, you're sure enough to have someone go down and then you're out a competent NHL skater.

Alright. You're free to have your opinion. What would you suggest?
- MaximumBone

Hall-Nuge-Ebs
Joensou-Gags-Yak
Perron-Arco-Hemmer
Gazdic-Gordon-Pitlick

Personally I'd like another LW and move Joensou to the 4th

Hey wait! Our answer to our 4C, Killbot! GORDON!

Perron- Gagner- Hemsky (keep Hemmer and Perron together)
Hall- Arco- Eberle (Arco and Eberle look good together)
Joensuu- Nuge- Yakupov (softer minutes)
Gazdic- Gordon- Pitlick (give Gordon a PP and PK time push)

- MaximumBone

this doesn't look half bad.....

id like to see pitlick given some prolonged time in the show.

side note; wheres 'munky 123'?
usually he'd be here by now, giving us lessons on why the habs have such better coaching, stronger development and are just far superior as a franchise.

weird that he's not around...
