Aside from the fact that Ennis isnt finishing, which has a lot to do with his linemates lacking either the ability to set him up or finish on chances he creates, he has been the most consistent forward. I really dont get what people watch when they think hes been invisible. - theblueandgold
I watch him lose about 65% of his faceoffs and go offsides about 10 times a game....AND not finish.

Give Girgensons the C......
In all seriousness that is our future captain without a doubt in my mind. |

Yeah. I'm glad he didn't have a serious injury and is starting to play the role expected of him...

In all seriousness he has no business being in the NHL. He was drafted more as a "favor". He worked his tail off on his skating to get to where he is now. If he stays that course he will be the steal of his draft class |

He needs to set an example for the rest of the team. Barely anybody else is putting effort into their game and it's way too inconsistent. Hell even Gerbe played harder than most of the team we have right now, even if he wasn't built for the NHL. |

Plus he isn't a crappy writer either. I wish he would right a book. Fraiser's book was ok but since he became a born again Christian (im not debating religion here) he didn't really divulge any of the real juicy stuff he saw or was apart of if you get what I mean - Stripes77
He's working on his autobiography. I would think there will be plenty of juicy stories in it. And his blogs are a breath of fresh air, very enjoyable reading. |

It's only been one game but Zadorov could be a gem.

Kind of depressing how Pommers is one of the best players for the Wild now... just goes to show how playing on this team really takes all the motivation out of the players. |

He was one of the best players here. The problem was he was made captain. He only has 3 points all goals so its not like he is blowing it out of the water though |

You totally lost me with your previous comments then. Said it was depressing he is one of the best players for the Wild (he has 3 points). He was one of our best players when he was here. He actually averaged a higher point per game in a Sabres uniform then a Wild albeit a small sample size. You just confused me with what you were trying to say |

This is why I'm willing to wait (as if we had a choice) for this team's prospects to join the fray, it will be a force to be reckoned with. |

Basically I was referring to how as soon as a player leaves this team they usually go and play better elsewhere, in recent years anyways. |

When Michigan played RIT two weeks ago in Rochester I was there. I spent the entire time watching his game. I can understand why we made a trade to move up to get him. As a true freshmen playing the point on the power play in a Michigan uniform, that's unheard of. He makes dare I say it tape to tape passes!?!?!?! He sees the ice very well and has soft hands. If he develops as planned he will be a good second line center. |

I wouldn't say he is playing better than he was playing here. Probably just playing more relaxed |

EDMONTON JOURNAL: Jim Matheson doubts the Panthers part with Kulikov…In response to a reader’s question about the availability of Buffalo’s Tyler Myers, he acknowledged the Sabres would probably trade the big blueliner but they aren’t actively shopping him. He also considers Myers big contract a major sticking point.

Sticking point as its hard to trade for him or its a benefit of trading for him? |
