If i were sabres brass, I would not let Darcy trade him. He just needs to get his head straight. If they trade him, it would be a major letdown IMO
- theduder6

Myers is already a let down he has been for 2 years now, bad contract and all.

Agreed, I want to see a new GM/coach tandem handle him first.

A lot of players have the "sophomore slump" as they say, so I would only account for 1 bad year. Over the course of the year he will get better. The sabres need an experienced nhl coach, not some ahl guy who is having at it for the first time. And when they fire Regier either during this year or after the season, the new gm will go and get that guy.

I just can't help wondering what my old friend JT would think of these troubled days in Sabreland....... RIP my friend....

Ray,

JT would have given up on this board years ago

unfortunetly, he was the guy who always stepped in when the conversation went sideways and that quality has never been replaced

The bottom part fits right in with Buffalo architecture though.

What?! Your not a fan of Crumbled Black top?

I am a little surprised the Buffalo Preservationist D-Bags weren't petitioning that the parking lot was historical and needed to be preserved.

As much of an eye-sore as the Skyway is, I wonder what good tearing it down accomplishes at this point, other than congesting traffic, and provide safety hazards to the arena and Harborcenter nearby.

The Skyway will look better with bigger buildings around it. As a stand alone structure it looks terrible. The scale is all wrong

It is cheaper to keep it than tear it down.

Maybe the Senecas took them out . They were pretty quiet even while the casino was going up.

I was a little off with my assessment. His first 2 years he did well, total of 85 pts. 3rd year is when he started to blow, but he did only play 55 games. Then the lockout shortened season, he also sucked. He's on the mend IMO

I am looking to sell my Sabres @ Avalanche tix for February 1st.

Section 130, Row 11, Seats 3,4

$100 a piece.

Seats are in the lower level right on the goalie red line. GREAT VIEW.

We will use paypal for the transaction in order to give us both buyer/seller protection.

PM if you are interested or have any questions.

Preservationist are necessary, but they take it too far when they are a driving force in trying to keep a something like the Trico Building. Does Buffalo Seriously need to keep that ugly ass building to remind the baby boomers how good it used to be around here? There is nothing arcitecturally significant about that monolith.

I loved the inner harbor slow down because they found the basements of "red light district buildings"
