Yea it was bad that he got injured but it was clean and a big part of that was how horrible the pass to Eller was. I haven't heard a fan outside of MTL say it wasn't clean ( there might be some ) but I am not the only person who felt it was clean.

#1 Montreal Fans are NEVER wrong, do i need to repeat this.
#2 Any Hit against a Mtl player is Dirty and Excessive.
#3 Take a deep breathe and then repeat #1 and #2 over again.

Really? Because Montreal beat the Oilers quite handily in Edmonton with Peter Budaj in net...

Depends on which Devan Dubnyk shows up. If it's the guy we've had the past two games, then that's not the one that faced you the first time.

Nope you're right.. pretty much everyone outside of Montreal (along with analysts) said it was a clean hit and Shanny dropped the ball.

**But we are talking about a city that wanted Chara suspended and criminally charged for being bigger than Patcioretty.

Just like everyone outside of Edmonton (analysts included.. McGuire actually laughed when asked) doesn't think the knee on Hall was intentional.

I thought that was a little weird. It was a hit. Not Chara following him around the ice holding his sweater punching him in the back of the head and shove his face into the ice with all his weight.

ah gotcha. so if you walk up to me and shoot me in the head, it's not as bad as, say, you following me home after work, breaking into my house and then shooting me in the head. i just wanna make sure i understand the logic that's on display here because frankly, i'm not very smart.

i know, i know, anything that happens to Montreal is fair game because you don't like them and you don't like French people because they offend your delicate sensibilities. have i got all that right, young lady?

Anything that happens to Montreal? What are you even talking about?

I was saying the people who thought Chara should be suspended or, even worse, charged criminally are idiots. Period.

Idiots OR they don't understand hockey. It doesn't matter what team you play for.... the play itself, just like the Gryba hit on Eller, was not suspension worthy. The difference is that Chara is a #1Dman and Gryba is a #6-7Dman.

Montreal, along with Toronto, have the biggest fan bases of any team. It only makes sense that they will also have the most idiots in their fanbase.

I've talked to a lot of level headed Montreal fans who understand the game and understand what is clean, what is dirty and what is suspension worthy. The problem is, the idiots usually scream the loudest.

I'm confused. if you drafted a lot of young talented kids, why wouldn't you want them out there? watching the rangers sign every FA from 98-04 still makes me cringe. i'd much rather see a team take a chance at playing the guys they picked rather than sign mid-range FA's, be a bubble team at best, and get screwed with a middle of the pack pick the next season.

You don't need to get upset because people don't agree with you. I guess everyone else who has ever hit another player into the the open part of the glass should be criminally charged Or at the very least attempted to be charged.

Yeah dude, put your religious symbols away, and write them a giant transfer payment cheque, with english at 50% sizing, because they need money for $7 daycare and to develop the loving and inclusive laws aimed at pur laine nation building. It's you, my friend, who is a bigot, hating on a team that can do no wrong?

Who are you Patrick Roy or something? Mad because they really showed you who's boss, exiled to the hinterlands of Colorado, while they were winning Cups, um just 20 years ago.....
