It's funny too because it has kind of worked, our younger D men have been better (Myers,Pysyk,Risto) and Hank has sucked

While I tend to agree, hopefully your not measuring Better by Total Shots Miller has had to take.

If Miller and Enroth haven't been stellar, I don't think you can make the case that our young D is better.

More of that falls on the forwards shoulders, we don't put any consistent offensive pressure on the opponent, we don't forecheck. We have been better in our own zone IMO but not breaking out of the zone. IMO the biggest issue is our speed or lack of. Teams just stand us up at our blueline not worried about our forwards getting behind them. As much as I hate to say it we miss the guys that can skate like Roy, Gerbe, MacArthur etc. Not that we miss them, just their speed

Technically it wasn't falling, more like being lowered slowly until we suffocate

They are what they are. Awful. They will be worse next year. I expect them to win some this year. The vets wll start playing better. Next year it could be worse but hopefully new life will be pumped into this team with a #1 overall pick.

I just can't watch this team be average anymore, I would rather them completely suck for 2-3 years

I just read the article in the Buffalo News that Rolston has a target on his back for the horrid start the Sabre have, wow are they really putting this on him? I'm not a fan of Rolston but is Ted black serious when he says" Firing Darcy now would be a panic move" What the hell is wrong with this organization.
