Every QB makes errant throws like that. I have never seen one QB that is perfect every time he throws a pass.

That was one of the worst QB'ed games Ive ever seen an Eagles player have. Maybe Doug Pederson had a worse game. After that game, I don't need to see anymore from Foles. I had a suspicion that last week TB goofed their defensive game plan. They did it again to Atlanta yesterday letting some guy named Harry Douglas have a monster game.

I know Foles isn't the answer but come on man. Don't let the offensive line off the hook. Average QBs can succeed on other teams.

Harry Douglas in the next Dan Marino...in the fact that they both have a "D" to start either their first or last name.

Foles is a backup QB. Always has been, and likely always will be. I don't know why they didn't go hard after Alex Smith or Peyton Manning. Vick or no Vick, they're both better QBs.

Did you ever watch Alex Smith on the 49ers?
He was complete trash and widely considered a bust by most fans.

Wilson spoke about the org philosophy changing on XM and the need to play faster...why they dumped murray, clowe, et al...so what i posted comes right from him.

Flyers are a dinosaur of an organization. They are behind the times right now and it's showing on the ice.

I'll say it again

What top NHL team dresses a Dmen that is less mobile than L Schenn or Grossman?

I'm sure too. But now he has plenty of time to think about it.

The Colorado Avalanche, the famed Nate Guenin. How are those losers doing?

O. line gave him plenty of time to throw, were u actually watching the game? this game was prob 80-20 on Foles vs the receivers, who had trouble separating from press coverage. still, if he makes ~ half a dozen throws, eagles win the game.

The O line was fine. I agree the receivers suck, but they got open enough for Foles and he missed almost every time. An average QB wins that game.

They need Marriota in the draft.

Still doesn't point out what the retool was. They have a couple of defenseman who have been with the team that are playing high minutes. They added a couple of players. And is Tyler Kennedy that much faster then Clowe? More then likely that dicision was Cap related. The core of that team has been in tact for a while. They're just off to a good start, and their getting goal scoring from a lot of players including Hertl. Not much of a re-tool there in my opinion.

i think you live w/ those guys if they are plying w/ comparable level puck movers...no doubt, the key to upping the tempo starts at the blue line, though.

your opinion means nothing when it contradicts Wilson's interview in which he clearly laid out a strategy reflecting a revised org philosophy...their drafting has been excellent and the style change from a few yrs ago stark... obvious.

Pittsburgh has Brooks Orpik. San Jose has Scott Hannan. Colorado has Jan Hejda. Boston has Zdeno Chara. All speedsters back there.

My opinion doesn't contradict anything Wilson said. Didn't even here the interview. All you have to do is look at the roster, and you can see there wasn't a retool.

All those guys can move the puck better. All of them. I'm very familiar with Orpik's game. Chara? Are you serious?

You just asked if there were slower players. Most teams (even the top ones) have 1-2 players slower or as slow as them.

Also, how is this Coburn's fault? I'm sure it is somehow.

Your post clearly talked about mobility, not puck movement. Neither of the players I mentioned are great skaters. If you're very familiar with Orpik's game, then you know mobility is not his strong suit or what he's known for. A defense needs a mix of players. And you need defensive defenseman like Grossmann and Schenn. The Flyers issue is that they're one player heavy on the defensive defenseman side. They need to add that one player, and their defense will be fine.

Coburn is the ideal defensive defenseman.....until you watch him play.

Coburn is obviously just the ideal whipping boy at this point of the Season.

I had Streit pegged at the beginning of the season. Sadly, I was wrong. Can't wait until Coburn's traded, put on a team in a position to succeed, plays like he did in 09/10, and the entire fanbase is confused as to why "he never played like that here."

The best teams, dont have dinosaurs patrolling the blue line anymore.

Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, etc.
