On the bright side, Gallagher is on pace for a pretty good season.

ya ok...big motivating win for the Oil last night.
- Pie

think about this for ten seconds before you decide to chime in again

the oilers just learned they have lost hall for a month.. they have come out of the gates flat and have had very little positivity to start the year

they were on a low

and when you are in a place like that sometimes all it takes is a comment from the right person to shake it off and give a team purpose again

i wouldnt be overly shocked to see the oilers actually go on a bit of a run now

remember when the habs got beat 6-0 by the leafs.. same thing.. they were embarrassed and tore up the entire league for the next month and a half

you don't say. After the 1st Oil fans were getting ready to hang themselves and now suddenly they are on fire after an invincible 40 min effort. DAMN YOU ELLER!

Even at full health they are still going to be a bubble team. Price has to stand on his head to get wins. But like Asp says there are some bright lights. Gallagher's goal last night was a beauty.

What's interesting to notice is, except Brière, it's all the "bigger guys" that are injured.

Oilers are brutal though. Habs are a bubble playoff team when healthy, with their injuries they are a lottery team imo. Oilers still had trouble with them.

That fourth goal on Price was brutal. Pleks has to take the man on that play

When Price is sitting deep in the net, not challenging, you know he's not going to have his best games.

you are obviously closing your mind to the possibility that outside sources actually can effect a team's desire and focus.

so lets just drop it.. i dont want to annoy everyone else in here trying to teach the blind to see

I think so. But Anaheim is a team with a lot of depth. Can't wait to see them against the Habs tomorrow. They have 2 future stars(IMO) on D, that are turning heads already : Sami Vatanen and Hampus Lindholm.
