I have to think it is to a large degree, even if the coaches change up the game plan they have to be able to cope no?
- Pie

The oilers did block a number of shots in the slot.

Habs were parted like the Red Sea.

Give 'em credit.

Gotcha, so just trolling the player, not the team. Makes sense. Oh be sure to look behind ya when ya back pedal so fast. Could be dangerous.
- leonkennedy

How did I troll the team with those posts??

it's still early for sure but i think everyone wants to see some pro-activity.
- scotch_tape

meh, it was agreed by most that they would struggle for a PO spot if healthy. As disappointing as it is to see 2 pts slip away like that it shouldn't be a surprise.

I talk to a lot of guys in the leafs thread win or lose. And I'm probably more critical about the ha s than I am about the leafs.

So really, the guy looking like a troll here isn't me. It's you.

- Pecafan Fan

Well of course! I'm in your thread! Duh... I'm being pretty obvious about it too... and for no other reason really than you and your brethren house in our threads after a Leafs loss and I didn't see you all in there tonight...

Look, I'm sorry for calling you a fruitbasket poster... there, we can be friends again?

i don't think anyone uses it as an excuse. i think it's used more to highlight the lack of depth on this team. beyond that Eller line, there is absolutely nothing on offence.

They controlled the middle of the ice in all three zones through the last 2 periods.

Indeed.

And now the Leafs are guaranteed the Octocup. Again.

Not much top 9 help in the pipeline.
I'm not as worried about the D, headed in the right direction, but it will take a few years

You're a (frank)ing idiot. He's in there all the time, win or lose, get over it. stay and continue or not but accept the fact that that is the truth.

im really starting o wonder where this DD thing is going. i mean, at game 30, when he's sitting there with 1 goal and 6 assists, what will they do? this is a rought time for MB. everything he has touched has turned to poop. DD, Briere, Douglas Murray, Therrien getting schooled by every coach under the sun... anyway. long season. see what happens.

What you're omitting here is the fact I'm also in the leafs thread after they win...

Funny how Eakins virtually saying that Eller's pre game comments did a better job motivating his players then he did. Well done coach.

They'll look better with him in the lineup. Still scratching my head at the Briere signing. Hey guys, an undersized over the hill player with a history of injuries!

I'm not going to lose it over this. I see positives with the kids playing well. We were begging for some of the young guys to get time the last littl;e while and now they are. I thought Gallagher's goal tonight was exceptional.
