yeah that's my issue. i'm looking at the Oilers and thinking "that's a bad hockey team. that's a bad collection of players and they seem poorly coached." and yet they have just taken Montreal to the woodshed.

yeah it actually looks like this is a bad hockey team this year. starting to question Therrien. it doesn't make sense how we just fold the tent once we get a lead.

there is a lot of dead weight on this roster it seems. i don't expect MB to do anything though. he's not exactly the most aggressive of GMs.

Id consider putting those two guys on waivers just to get rid of the contracts. What do they bring to this team? Take up less space on the plane?

yeah but in the first, Montreal just about ran Edmonton out of the rink. obviously you don't expect that for 60 minutes but as soon as the Oil got one, that was it. Montreal was never in this game from that point on. it doesn't make sense.

I don't think we should act like we're surprised. We knew they would probably fight for a playoff spot or miss by a few points.

i expected that. but watching this team so far, i don't think well fight for a playoff spot.

He will regret the DD contract. Gionta is UFA next summer but he will need the money for Subban and Eller. He better hope the salary cap goes up by a significant amount or else you'll see the same team next year.

Yes they are missing Emelin, Pacs and Prust (regulars) but they are still a weak team.

Great night in hockey... Leafs end the Ducks' 7 game winning streak... Dion has a stellar game... Kessely Snipes with the hat trick... and the Habs lose to a Junior team...

honestly he frustrates me. i'm all for building through the draft and i think it's the right way to go. but i mean, he's been GM for a year and a half and this is still almost exclusively Pierre Gauthier's team. at what point does he try to mix things up at the NHL level?
