what exactly are you looking for?

should we all say (frank) this team and stop watching/caring?

i dont get who you are trying to antagonize?

- Crimsoninja

You mean aside from Paul Holmgren, Luke Schenn, Mark Streit, Jay Rosehill, Jody Shelley, and Michael J Leighton?

@DNFlyers When I asked Holmgren about Meszaros ($4M) as expensive scratch: "There were a few guys Craig wanted to scratch. Andrej ended up being 1st."

They are drawing straws to see who sits out now. Nice. I predict the next straw is 22 inches long.

from the GM whose moves you fully supported this offseason?

if homer gets fired you'll be ripping his replacement faster than anyone

- Crimsoninja

it's only natural right? don't act surprised

Watching hockey central at noon.. they spoke about how NJ hasn't won a game and still isn't in last place in it's division. Then they said they still need to get Ed Snider on the show!!! Everyone laughing... man we are a freaking joke right now.

L. Schenn silly. You know the guy playing 12 minutes a game. He's going to play a game of leapfrog, before you know it he will be a top pairing guy.
- PLindbergh31

He played 17+ minutes last night. Was -1. I don't think L Schenn is the problem, especially not with the whole team being as dysfunctional as it is. If I'm looking for the source of this team's issues, I'm starting with the forwards.

17 minutes was still last, sans Timonen who left with an injury.

I merely pointed out he played greater than 12 minutes. And minutes last night were evenly distributed with almost the whole team falling between 18 and 20.

Again, I don't start with L Schenn when looking for what ails this team.

Snider was already on the show. He brought his expletive bag.

The Flyers went on a decent winning streak last year when we was out of the lineup IIRC.

Who's guaranteed production are they not getting right now? Outside of Giroux, and maybe Vinny b/c he's not in the lineup... who are your other guaranteed 20-30 goal scorers, or guaranteed 60-70 point guys, or guaranteed 30-50 pt dmen? Mason and Emery are far from guaranteed .915+ SV% guys, as wel.

There are guys who have hit those levels in the past, but there's no guarantee that they can do it again this year.

- Tomahawk

Giroux, Voracek, Read, Simmonds, Hartnell, Lecavalier are all capable of scoring 20 goals or better. You might have a situation where one or two have subpar years, but all of them at the same time?

No practice Saturday or Sunday. They sure have earned a weekend off. Well deserved. Should take Monday off too. Nice 3 day weekend.

LA were chronically guilty of playing well below their perceived potential and they were chafing under Murray's system and communication style, so yeah, it's similar.
- Tomahawk

LA was a much better team even as they were struggling under Murray then the Flyers are now.

Sure, they're capable, but none outside of G and Vinny are money in the bank.

Hartnell used to be, but it's looking like that's in the rear-view for him now.
