Outshot 28-14 from the 2nd period on.

Oh well sometimes you hang on to those 1 goal games and sometimes you don't, but the leafs should keep practicing it.

It's the way the habs have played for I can't even rememeber how long and it leads to playoff appearances, .500 hockey and early round exits.

nice win for the habitants last night - BJ's goalie must be on the phone with Bernier this morning, you know consoling each other

Maybe go with the G37 sedan and tell wifey it's a good people mover. You still get your 300+ HP.

My Boss drives one. Nice car. Very fast for a sedan...Very fast for a coupe. I think 336hp.

we gave that game away last night, we probably deserved to lose - since we stole one in Edmonton. What goes around comes around
- Garnie

we did deserve to lose it.. the leafs offensive attack is terrible right now

one goal that was just lupul whacking away until it finally went in.. the second was a beauty of a shot that really had nothing to do with a organized offensive attack.

missing the 3 PFs doesnt help much.. i mean JVR Clarkson and Kuli all play similar styles.

No kidding, what's with tenders not being ready when the other team is in their zone.

We easily could have won though. Both Leaf goals were nice, I know Lupuls was a whack but the Canes can't be having that many 3 on 1's...Lupuls goal should have been scored by Kadri or Lupe's could have dropped it to the 3rd guy coming in high...either way...we had lots of chances, I know the shots are down again - but the Leafs and Canes both missed some good chances.

I've been in a g35 sedan for about 5 years and I have no complaints. Manual and about 305hp and the 3 kids fit in the back.

They're getting bigger now though so I think I'm entering my SUV years ...maybe even something with the optional 3rd row.

MDX, X5, Q7 ....not sure.

personally, i think Carlyle was happy to lose that game, deep down. yeah it's a loss but the Leafs are still 6-2 and now he has something with which he can get their attention, a reason to crack the whip. Leafs couldn't continue playing the way they were playing. everyone here mocks advanced stats and yadda yadda yadda and it's really cute but the bottom line is that you cannot get heavily outshot every night. it wears your goalie out, and if you're constantly chasing the puck, it wears YOU out. long term, losing that way is probably good for the Leafs.

That game was a clinic on when NOT to pinch as a defenseman. Both teams were brutal.

We had a big fund raiser for the needy in the area last night. It was out 7th year helping out, we poured off 23 bottles of wine, donated 12 cases to the cause, that sold in under 2 minutes, and we also had a bunch of fun getting all those rich people drunk. I think we raised about 50k last night.

Funny thing is Jim Corsi invented the stat exactly for that purpose, he was trying to get a handle on measuring goalie fatigue.

Habs aren't wearing a blue and white jersey. They're also midgets and they suck.
