Alright guys, looking to buy a second car for needed cargo space etc....was leaning towards a 2009 mazda3 gt hatchback but now im considering getting a 2009 ford escape ltx....anyone have thoughts on either or offer a better option?

the 2009 escape was always good... they changed the design in 2010 and it wasnt as good after that.

yeah thats what I read...apparently the 2008 wasnt as good on gas etc and the 09 was much improved...im worried with the amount of stories ive heard about fords in recent years though...currently drive a 2010 mazda and love it but need something bigger. |

well Dani's mom had one that they used to cart stuff back and forth from market to market.. she loved the 09' but when they traded it in for the 13' she hated it.. the design changes were all wrong i guess.
so she traded it in and got an F150 |

One of my vehicles is a 2010 Ford Escape (the redesign was 2011) V6, its good on gas and Ive had no maintenance issues with it. I too was hesitant about Ford.
I've crammed two kids in there with camping gear, so it has a fair bit of room. |

good to know...I have two dogs and play hockey 1-2 a week and nothing fits in my mazda...so like the idea of the smaller crossover suv's......thanks guys. |
