meh.. not making a trade for a high end 20 year old prospect because there is no room on your roster right atm is a bit foolish imo

but the point is taken.. the leafs would have to find a way to make room for him at some point if this fantasy of a trade ever went down

If Strome was one of ours, the media would be ripping into him all day long because he's taking too long to be in the NHL. He'd be shifted from centre to wing, and back again. And instead of Gardiner, i think we'd be offering strome up in every trade proposal possible. Just my opinion.

but if he did play wing as well, then there could be deal to be made there if the Islanders are looking for D-men which they have planty of.
