It was the right call on a convoluted, flawed rule. Let's hope they iron this out by the time the playoffs roll around.

It's such a blooper way to lose a game, you do have to laugh. It's a lot easier to take when Bernier has already been good enough to steal points. I feel a lot different about Bernier whiffing on one like that than when Monster or Toskaclown did.

Yes, but I can't help but wonder what the reaction would be around here had that been Reimer. I'm just getting sick of all the "Bernier would have had that" BS lately.

It's worse than the advanced stats crap that gets tossed around by the Corsi fans. There are so many tiny variables in a game that it's impossible to tell the hypothetical outcome.

In truth, we just need to stop worrying about who's in net and just focus on the fact that we have two very talented young goalies who will struggle at times, just like all veterans.

I couldn't care less about that ugly goal in the long run, but I hope this puts a bullet in the inane knee-jerk reactions.

the team in front of these goalies needs to start playing better.. hopefully getting some of the regulars back helps that.

no JVR and no Clarkson? I mean.. hell.. those are the two big guys who in the top 6.. missing both really hurts

Edit: I wouldn't mind the bourque incident even if I was a Habs fan. It was hilarious and from it a new word was added to the dictionary (getting bourqued loool). I laughed at it as much as Kulemin getting clocked by who was it now? Tim Gleason I think and he ran off like a baby. Gotta love stuff like that. I do not respect people making fun of serious injuries like Parros or Hossa and such, that ain't cool.

I think Bernier has better fundamentals and looks more professionally groomed/polished, but Reimer's size and athleticism allow him to do incredible things.

And, yeah, couldn't agree more on JVR and Clarkson. JVR especially is really coming into his own as a dominant net-presence. We miss that his size so badly in man advantage situations.
