Counterpoint: Canada has provided us with "Call Me Maybe" and Justin Bieber.
- johndewar

It's nowhere near my style of music, by "Call Me Maybe" is an insidiously catchy tune.

Justin Bieber, the little girl that he is, should be tethered to Miley Cyrus and pushed off a boat in the middle of the Atlantic.

Couple of big new additions to HockeyBuzz to announce.

Every Thursday, longtime NHL referee (and former NHL player for the Nordiques) Paul Stewart is doing an "inside refereeing" blog in the top center portion of this site. Stewey is one of the game's great colorful characters -- and was a pretty damn good ref -- and this should be a blast.

Every Wednesday, longtime Flyers defenseman Brad Marsh is doing "inside the life of an NHL player" blogs based both on his experience as someone who played over 1,000 games in the NHL and also his observations on the how the game has changed (or stayed the same) in the 20 years since his retirement.

Brad, like Paul, is one hell of a good guy with a huge heart and strong beliefs about the game. These should be entertaining reads and a huge upgrade to the depth and visibility of our center-space blogs.

HockeyBuzz expansion. Good for you guys. Should be interesting blog posts too.

This is true, but she's also pretty good at it.
- johndewar

It comes down to a matter of preference, I guess.

She's not a horrible singer, I just hate the way she sings the anthem -- and her delivery of it is so predictable you could plant crops to it.

Her OC and her solo GBA are listenable. The split duet is too much.

she may look like Gene Hart?
- vejim

I'd just close my eyes and think of her 10 years ago Then everytime at the the game I could say I nailed it. Then again, should I even admit that?

Why do I think their idea of 'metal' isn't really going to come close to my idea of 'metal'?

Could it be her hair and cute little outfit? You decide...

I am looking forward to Vinny being back for the Rangers. I just hope they keep Raffl up and move Talbot back to the 4th line so it could actually play 10 minutes a night.

Bill, is maatta ahead of schedule or really just plying until letang is back? how does he project in your opinion?
- isaiah520

Greetings friends.

Maata has been very solid and makes good decisions with the puck. Very smooth. There seems to be serious consideration about keeping him.

I wonder what it would sound like if Cannibal Corpse sang this song.

Sure would be good to get a win tonight and go into that 6 day game-break feeling confident with something to build upon in practice.

How does a 6 day break happen in an olympic year where the schedule is compressed? Crazy.

And is he wearing a bowtie as well?

Yup, that's a fair question. But for the Flyers it really couldn't come at a better time...they need to dig themselves out of their own heads, stop thinking about it and just start playing hockey.
