Got surprised by the girlfriend with tickets (awesome), but actually had to watch the game (not so awesome). Our best forward was Raffl from my vantage point, thats a serious problem. What the hell do we do?!

the best thing about this for me, is i have virtually zero emotion about it. just isn't affecting me. 5 years ago, i'd be breaking things.

A lot of guys are struggling. But I wonder why nobody is calling out the Captain?

I have been calling him out since game #1.

Simmonds has been dreadful. To many turnovers in the neutral zone.

Hopefully the end is coming soon. Either way, keep pushing...it will be worth it!

he tries to move the puck through the zones by sheer momentum of his entire body and will

having it on his stick has nothing to do with the puck moving forward

thing is, I love Simmer

I think his willingness to die (or at least sacrifice parts of his face) to score and to fight bigger guys, stand up for teammates etc, make him a perfect Flyer.

he is never going to be a pretty player and his skill set makes him a tough fit, I guess part of the reason LA gave up on him

he doesn't have the puck skills to be a top line winger, and he doesn't have the two way game to be on a shut down line... maybe perfect third line guy, but our third line C is currently their go to shut down guy

I think he can be an effective player

right now between him and baby schenn it is very painful to watch
